HIGH PERFORMANCE POLYMER MATERIALS FOR RECIPROCATING COMPRESSORS


SARASONS has developed a wide range of compounds with polymer matrix & fillers selected to radically improve its wear resistance & creep resistance. The compounds produced also have better heat stability & optimal friction properties which are best suitable for non-lube service. Parts are manufactured using premium base resins with blends such as Carbon Fiber, Glass Fiber, Graphite, Bronze, Ceramic, Molybdenum Disulphide, Polyamide, PEEK®, PPS, Silica, Calcium Fluorides, Stainless Steel, Aluminum Alloy & special high strength polymers. Our parts are suitable for the most challenging operating conditions : chemically inert to highly reactive gases, cryogenic to high operating temperatures, vacuum to high pressure applications like - Ambient Air / Bone dry Nitrogen / Bone dry Oxygen / Pure Air for PET blow molding / Hydrogen / Helium / LPG / CNG / Hydrocarbon Mixtures / Acetylene / Argon / Carbon Dioxide / Ethylene / Propylene / Propane and Isobutene. SPECIAL FORMULATIONS FOR HIGH-PRESSURE& HIGH-TEMPERATURE

  • Wear resistant Carbon/Graphite PTFE blends with higher elongation properties to overcome brittle effects of high carbon loadings.
  • Carbon fiber blends with low friction wear resistant polymer filler for dry hydrocarbon and bone dry gasses compression.
  • Bronze molybdenum disulphide for high loadings.
  • Hard & soft carbon in combination with glass fiber for improved wear resistance suitable for - 200°C
